I did not get your query, Are you asking on the behalf accused or victim? Please rephrase you query in details. If you are asking on behalf of accused you need to go immediately for anticipatory bail if possible and on filing of the FIR you should apply for the regular bail.

Go through proper channel.. Inform police and send body for post Mortem...it will let to know the real cause of death and accidentally death is in respect of self defence.. Give complete information to the police..

Report to the police as far as the facts available with you. In case it happened with you accidentally then keep quite. And let the fortune come apart. Report to the police with vehicle no. Time and place of accident.

You need give complete detail what kind of accident it was. What are the action taken till now. There might be multiple case of accident. Will it be done to protect some one or while driving vehicle .please describe
