What is the cost of Filing "Not to harass "petition?

I have borrowed money from a person through the loan agreement duly signed. The complainant filed a false complaint in police station stating that I have cheated him. Even though this is a civil dispute, police is harassing me. What is the cost of filing "not to harass " petition " in Chennai high court.

yes , its absolutely civil in nature and criminal colour should not be framed. u can file a direction to not to harass and it will be ordered in favour of you. regarding cost we will talk in call or in person

sir, if the complainant had filed a cheating case against you, then it is the duty of the police to investigate and find the truth and to file the charge sheet before the court who will conduct the trial and oy there you can disprove the allegation made against you. if it is a civil dispute you can file an anticipatory bail in the high court as a precaution.

Reporting FIR have also become a tool of misuse since frivolous FIRs are being filed against innocent persons if there exists a malafide intention with an objective to harass them at the hands of law. One such instance is where a criminal proceeding is maliciously instituted with an ulterior motive for wreaking vengeance on a person and with a view to spite him due to private and personal grudge.
