what is thaana zaamin, PS bail

an advocate told me that he will first take bail from ps then after chargesheet gets submitted to court, he will apply for bail there too. so what is section for bail from thaana ps, and for court.

advocate take bail for you from the police station if the offence is bailable in nature you will have to furnish a bond which maybe a personal Bond or surety . Bail can be taken from the police station in respect of bailable offences.

Under Section 437 of the CrPC, a person who has been arrested for a bailable offense can be released on bail by the police or the court. A bailable offense is an offence, in which, Bail can be procured as a matter of right and which is punishable by imprisonment for less than three years or with a fine only.
