Q: How to go abt filing for divorce from RCR

I had filed for RCR against my husband. And yesterday i received a notice that he filed for divorce. Now what can be done if even i want to agree for divorce. Will it be considered as contested divorce or mutual? How to go abt it? RCR is in Karnataka and husband petition is in mumbai court

it is better that you appear in the Mumbai court advocate and get the copy of the petition file by your husband then you submit to the petition make sure you file account claim in that petition against your husband so that he himself tells you to get the issue settled mutually in that way you will be in a better position for cliaming the relief

Q: Residence order in shared household.

I have filed DV case. husband withdraws his Restitution case and wife has filed the case of restitution. Husband stated in front of magistrate that reconciliation is not possible for him. I have requested the court to allow me stay at my matrimonial home which is a shared household. (from last 3.5yrs I am residing at my parents house with my child).Matrimonial home is owned by my mother and father in law. Is it possible court will protect my right and allow me to stay at my matrimonial home?

if you have file a Devi case the court will grant you protection order once protection order is granted no one can remove you from that home accept the court itself hence if you have the protection order Grand the copy of that order to the protection officer

Q: Daughters maintenance issue ??

Is their any law that states that daughter abover 18 yrs or 18 yrs can't get maintenance from the father as they are major ? And what to do if father denies to give maintenance to his daughter's saying that they are 18 yrs or above 18 yrs as they are considered major and they can earn and support themselves? In such case what can we do to get maintenance??

the law is settled that under the Hindu law a daughter is liability to be maintained amd hence the law says that a daughter is liable to be maintained until and unless she is married. married daughter he is not a liability to be maintained since if you are unmarried it is the duty of your father to maintain you
