What is 164crpc?? Will i get summon after giving 164crpc at the time t

One of my friend is accused of murder case of his wife. Police officer come to my place and told me to come and met us in police station. I went there. They ask some question related to that case. I answered what I have known. Then they send me to metropoliton magistrate to record 164 statement. Now I am very much confused that will i get summon from court?? And will i suffer any problem for given 164?? What will be my next step?? The case is in evidence stage rit now.

dear client as per your query since your statement got recorded by metropolitan magistrate under section 164crpc so yes when needed court will summon you to come you can consult me online by paying online consultancy fees...
