Respected SirAn FIR was filed against me in vigilance and anti-corruption case under section 7A. I am working as a Deputy Tahsildar. The case was registered against me and my Village Administrative Officer. I didn't received the money, but the crime happened in my office, the case was registered like, i instructed my VAO to receive the money. Now is there any possibility to quash the FIR before the chargesheet or i need to wait till the chargesheet is filed. Is there any previous references like FIR quased in vigilance case. Kindly guide. Thanks with anticipation.
FIR, Chargesheet, criminal proceedings can be quashed depending on whether any offense is made or not by the prosecution. I need to go through the contents of FIR and evidence available against you both. Every case is unique and quashing is possible under several instances.

sir. quash of fir is not possible in pca act. have you been arrested red hand or on complaint?. if complaint is made then prima facie of case can be disproved by false complaint. what is the role of vao in accepting the bribe on behalf of you. quash is possible. are you under suspension or not?

yes there are lot of cases as quashed in FIR stage .
But as of your nature of case it will be ease to get the chargesheet copy.
Because in a charge sheet they might do lot of mistakes and it will be easy to be quashed..
