Urgent help needed in bangalore

02-Feb-2026 (In Criminal Law)
I need urgent legal help in Bangalore. I have an NCR and an MLC after an assault by my ex-husband and wrongful retention of my dog. Two 112 calls were made and police visited, but recovery has not happened yet. The accused is traceable at a known address. I am seeking a lawyer who can actively escalate with ACP/police and, if required, file an interim custody application under BNSS. I am not looking for advice to wait

Madam, As per your query, you have to obtain written permission to register FIR from competent court based on NCR, then only police will register FIR, without FIR police can't do anything against to your husband. For filing petition obtain permission from the competent court and any other legal assistance feel free to contact me. K Shashikumar Advocate Bangalore

okay I understand your questions so now you lodge complaint at police station but police registared only NcR and MLC but they not lodge a FIR right you can file a PC R case with advocate at court and take court direction to juridictional police and lodge criminal case against him

Hi we can escalate the matter and try to convert the NCR to FIR by filing necessary applications before the magistrate court based on the MLC and other evidence which are with you. we can also get the custody matter decided in the court.

Dear Sir/Madam, Your lawyer can file an application before the Magistrate to direct the police to investigate the matter as a cognizable offense, effectively treating it with the weight of an FIR. You may file Private Complaint.
