Trader Fraud found after few years of loss

I had closed my trading company due to bad debts. A party has taken my stock and vehicles from us saying they will pay in a couple of months which never came. Chased for our payments but lost hope. Now after many years, i found my product that is expired but being sold in the market by this party, after falsely stamping date of manufacture. The dates have been falsely stamped and being sold. Most of the old documents are unavailable. Will it be positive filing a criminal case seeking a compensation for our closed company.
please mention the date on which actual transfer of stock,assets and other infrastructure were transferred. if you could esatblish the transfer, you will defenitely win the case based on the product and in regard to the institution of criminal case, you can definitely file criminal case against the party for cheating, breach of trust and like mannered
