He will not commit Suicide. He is just Blackmailing your friend. It takes guts to commit Suicide. Even, if he commits so, it is his problem, not your friend's. You friend will not be in trouble. One cannot force/compel other person to marry with him. And obviously as he was drunk, that's why he would have made a scene. On gaining consciousness, he might behave in a different way. Save your friend from this Emotional Blackmail. However, if your friend had broken her relationship with his Ex on flimsy grounds or for any Rich Brat or her Ex was just a means to satisfy lust, she would be considered as morally wrong, legally she could be booked for abetment of suicide. If the Relationship had been broken because of circumstances beyond the control of parties and by their mutual consent and will or because of the fault of your friend's Ex, then she won't be booked for Abetment of Suicide. However, it all depends upon the evidences, evidences talk in whose favor, ultimately that party will win.
