29-Aug-2023 (In Criminal Law)
This lecturer uses inappropriate language in classes and he tried to offer my friend a good grade if she agrees to write an exam in his cabin and he also has a past history of verbal abbuse and misbehavior. Can I file a complaint against him ? I'm 19 years old.

Definitely you or anybody can file a complaint against the lecturer under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. This act provides protection against various forms of harassment, including verbal abuse and misconduct. Additionally, you could also consider relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) that deal with harassment, abuse of power, and insult to modesty of women.
