There are these two people who've been spreading wrong about me to the people, and making me isolated. The temple I visit regularly for sadhana seva, amongst the trustees two people are spreading wrong about me to the poojari's and other people around, creating hatred against me. As i see some people have started maintaining distances with me.Help me with how can I file a defamation, procedure what is required?? & Do i need to register police complaint??

If you are indeed defamed and your image is lowered in public then you will have to first issue legal notice to the accused calling upon him to stop spreading wrong against you, to apologize and to compensate you then you will have to file a case

Hello, for defamation you should register NC in police station and have to send legal notice to these people. Through legal notice you can ask them to apologise and if they fail then file a case in magistrate court
