Hi
Since you already have the FIR number, you can always check the status of FIR by visiting the court having jurisdiction and find out whether the FIR has been quashed or whether charge sheet is filed.
Normally police will file charge sheet within 90 days and sometimes within 6 months from the date of FIR. But something seems to be wrong if police have not taken any action for last 14 months. So please check the records in the court having jurisdiction over the police station in which you had filed the complaint.
