Software AMC Made Mandatory On Ransom

We have taken Offline Based Jewellery ERP billing and stock software for our business. The software license amount was paid initially at the time of installation. In bill states 'single user advanced' with no specific clause as such or expiry. Now after a year, the software company has blocked my access to my data and software, making me unable to even access my data, let alone operate it. Company is asking me to mandatorily pay AMC, which was not conditioned earlier.

you can approach the consumer court for unfair trade practice and deficiency in service and see that they provide the services and also pay the compensation for the harrasment and mental torture which you have to face and loss which you have suffered, you can initially send a legal notice and then file the complaint in consumer court.

Dear Sir, Before entering into contract you must read the conditions specifically it seems the company is claiming AMC that is Annual Maintenance Charges which is normally collected by the Software Companies. Since you have taken license and purchased the Software you can pay the AMC with the same Company or change the company if possible.
