Should female victim visit compulsorily to police stn ?

Hi,
FIR filed on a molestation case through private complaint. Female victim stays in another state. Police insisting her to come to Police station for recording statement. Then only they will arrest accused. Is there anyway that she can avoid coming to this particular police station? This station already harassed her.
if the victim is so scared it is advisable to seek transfer of case from this state to an appropriate state or in current state where victim resides, but then you have to escalate the same in supreme court and prevail upon them that conducting the case in this environment is not advisable and eminent risk on the life of victim is there.
