Regarding summons and First hearing.

Hi, Yesterday I got a SMS of a case registered in court on me, State vs Me. I tracked the number in e court. In that it said 19th is first hearing. But I have not received any summons. What to do?

Dear Sir,
Service of summons mandatory but if you have vacated your premises and summons could not be served on you. Then court will accept service of summons through SMS or Email. It is better to appear and get bail if it is criminal case otherwise ask your advocate to file vakalath or undertaking on behalf of you.
