Regarding summon to person who did FIR on me

Hi sir How long victim or witness can take if summon is issued to them by the magistrate. Judge have issued summon as victim had not appeared in court for chief examination and I requested judge to issue them summon as victim is not apearing before court for recording statement chief examination Pocso case. How much time can they take once summon is issued to them or summon is issued only to accuses

If you are not able to appear on the specific date you can apply for adjournment ab explaining the inability to appear in the court on given date the court may reschedule your appearance. And the time to appear on the court is written on the summon

Generally there is no specific timeline in this type of cases but even after repeated opportunities if the victim is not appearing usually on 3 dates you should file an application before the court for closing his evidence so that victim statement is not taken on record

if the summons are issued then you can take the assistance of the police official for its execution and in POCSO case the culprit should have been arrested by now. Anyways you can take the help of the police official for the execution of the summons
