you have the right to file a fir against.them.ask them.what is the reason why did.they tell you to leavethe house wasthere.any kind of.promblem which had happened with you and your in laws and all you can sit with your family.and all

If police is not helping, you should engage a good lawyer and approach the court. In such case you can file a petition under domestic violence and even provisions under IPC. I hope that answers your question.
