No action on theft complaint

One corrupt police official has closed my FIR of laptop theft without doing any investigation. Kindly advice me about the legal actions I can take against such officials. Regards
Let me ask few questions before I give you proper advice into the matter.My first question is on what basis you are saying that the Investigating Officer is corrupt ? Did he demand any bribe for fair investigation ? If it's so, you may file a complaint with the Vigilance or anti corruption unit. However I would be able to give you proper advice after going through the contents of the FIR.
