Dear client, I have seen your query carefully but you did not disclose the complete details of the matter. so without knowing the exact details and facts of the matter no competant lawyer can give you proper advice so please disclose all the details of the matter. if you think that you will get the permanent stay from the high court upon the fir lodged by your wife against you then you will be disappoint because no court can give you permanent stay. you can challenge the FIR in high court and pray for quashing of F.I.R but high court will pass order arresting stay till the completion of the investigation i. e. upto filing charge sheet. it is better to file a anticipatory bail before district judge court. if the district judge denied to give you anticipatory bail then you can file petition before high court.
