My brother was arrested due to attempt murder on his own wife she is in ICU past two days he stabbed with scissors knife in throat .my brother is having mental illness disease paranoid schizophrenia.so we don't want to get him bail we request to provide some mental treatment in jail I heard he was In puzhal jail.i am in canada right now I don't what to do procedure to apply medical request or transfer to any mental health organization.

Normally when a mentally challenged person is arrested he will be sent to a psychiatrist facility or kept in isolation. The arrested person will be kept under the care of psychiatrist. If you need any special care you have to get order from the court.
