Lost 4 lakh worth gold in train in 2nd AC compartment

I have lost gold in the train in 2nd AC, I have filed in the complaint with the railway police but bow railway police are not responding. I need to file case against Railway also as there is no proper safety in the railway compartment and no gaurds or railways police present in the train. There is even CC cam in the compartment. I need a legal opinion on how approach this

hi you could file case against the Railways in consumer forum seeking compensation for the loss of articles and damages for the loss and neglligence showed by them in preserving the articles and could obtain reliefs from the court

These incidents are a common and you may approach the Consumer Court. I have witnessed Hyderabad Consumer Forum grating reliefs to the passengers of Indian Railways. if you search in Google with the relevant keywords like Hyderabad District Consumer Forum Fines Railways Gold Chain then you will find articles that will comfort you. My suggestion would be to file a consumer case by taking the above cases and other relevant cases as references. All the Best
