Go to judicial magistrate court and file complaint criminal case against the sisterinlaw and her family members if the police is not registering your FIR.U may file FIR online and also send a copy of fir to the higher authority of police station.Still if no action from police then to Court as suggested

Send the FIR to the SP by registered post. If no action taken then you can file a complaint case in sdjm court or can file a writ in high Court as per the situation. Engage a lawyer for legal remedies

Dear sir/Madam,
If the concerned Iic of the PS did not receive your complain then you send the written complain to the SP/DCP through register post with ad for taking necessary action. After fifteen
days of received the complain if the Sp/Dcp did not take any proper action as per law then you can file a complaint petition before theSubDivisional judicial magistrate /judicial magistrate First Class as per your allegations. So I suggest you to consult a lawyer and file a 1cc case against those.

From your grievance it is understood that your sister in law has tourtured all your family members and police did not register the complaint. The relatives of your sister in law had come to your house and also misbehaved. Hence you can approach the higher police authority or may agile a case in court

Yes there is a way out. What kind of case she has filed? Well you file a counter case against her, file a complaint case in Court if Police is not responding to your FIR.. .
