Q: What happens after bail is granted in India, and how much time will the court take to start the case

After being granted bail one year ago for charges including 354, 506, 323, 341, and 394, I want to know when the court will start our case. Is there a system to immediately initiate the case after bail is granted?

It is up to the court, and one cannot predict the exact time, but generally, it may take around 1 to 2 months.

sir, i was in a relationship with a girl for 5 years. there were always fights on silly topics and she never trusted me and the fights continued for days. finally i could not have any hope and asked her for a break up which she refused. so i decided to cut my relationship with her and move on. after 6 months i met another girl and fell into a relationship. after some months the 1st girl knew about my present situation and is continuously harassing me. i just fear that she may harm herself though she denies of doing that. my question is that if you break up with someone and they kill themselves india then can i be implicated for abetment? will there be any legal issue? kindly help me, thanking you.

If she has any proof about your love relationship on one hand and proofs about your fights on the other hand, then you will be in danger if she does something wrong with her. Be careful and move on with the present girl after all it's your life and future is all yours.

Divorce - Petitioner(husband) not showing up on hearing(2nd hearing) date after placing a mutual divorce petition. what happens when in mutual divorce in second motion one person is not coming for sign ? Please advice what could be done to get it resolved?

Both the parties has to appear on all dates otherwise the mutual petition will be dismissed by the Court. When such situation arises where one of the parties remain absent, it will to be deemed as divorce by contest and hence, the mutual petition shall be dismissed.

How to Quash a False Case Against You?

1. File a petition in the High Court under Section 482 CrPc (Section 528 BNSS) to quash false FIRs.
2. Gather evidence (witness statements, call records, CCTV footage) to prove the accusations are false.
3. File a counter-complaint against the complainant under Sections 182 & 211 IPC (Sections 217 & 248 BNS).
4. Take legal action against police misconduct if false charges were framed.
5. Claim compensation under Section 250 CrPc (Section 273 BNSS) if acquitted.

Q: What to do when husband torture wife and harasses the wife

Hello mam, do not worry for such situation. Because there has been a law/ statute enacted for protecting women from such torture and harassment. You can file a complaint under the Domestic Violence Act by which your husband will be liable for punishment by way of paying you monthly maintenance allowances every month and also he will pay you the cost and expenses of the case that you will do. Secondly, file an fir under section 498A of IPC against your husband and he will be arrested immediately. You may go for divorce to the family court afterall.
