Q: Can colleges charge late fees , Is there any law which regulates college fines for delayed fees?
Can college impose a fine more than the fee itself? My college imposed a fine of ₹1500 for 1 week delay of examination fee of ₹1000. I am shocked that fine of just 1 week delay is 150% more than the actual fee , hence i am curious to know if this is even ethical/lawful or not on college's part? what is the ugc guidelines for fee payment and delayed fee fine ?

Q: What happens after bail is granted in India, and how much time will the court take to start the case
After being granted bail one year ago for charges including 354, 506, 323, 341, and 394, I want to know when the court will start our case. Is there a system to immediately initiate the case after bail is granted?

After the accused goes on bail, the police will submit the case diary with the charge sheet in the court. Then the accused, after receiving summons from the court, will again go on regular bail. After the informant and witnesses receive summons from the court, the trial will start.

U can file FIR against your husband u/s 498 IPC to your local thana for beating and torture.If u are living separately,u can claim maintenance from your husband.Never tolerate torture and try to stand on your own leg.
