04-Jun-2025 (In Criminal Law)
Hi, I’m looking for legal assistance to obtain court permission for passport issuance for my Father due to a pending FIR (no action since 2011) under Section 379 IPC in Uttar Pradesh. The passport office has requested permission to travel abroad from the Alllahabad high court, along with an undertaking as per GSR 570(E). Can you please confirm if this can be done?

We recommend filing a writ petition with the Allahabad High Court seeking directives under Article 226 of the Indian Constitution. This is the most effective avenue for obtaining the desired relief. For a more detailed explanation, please schedule a consultation.
