Legal actions against accountant for issue of false cheques

Our base trade is purchasing kapas from farmers and commission agents. We provide them cheques as a payment mode. Cheques were prepared by our accountantt. At a time 25/35 cheques in different party names to be provided. In that our accountant smartly added few cheques in his family names and without noticing our partner has signatured. The cheques has been passed. Now we have issued fir copy in his name as ipc406 sec... plzz guide as what furgher steps to be taken to bring money back. Please help us

To get your money back proper channel is you should file a suit for recovery and get an order of decree from civil court and meanwhile you can file a police complaint under Section 420 of Indian Penal code.

Here you should lodge the complaint against him. Then how many cheque he took..there should be mention and can file the Preliminary complaint against him..basis of 420 and misusing the duty work..

Further steps to recover money can only be through court. You can file a suit for recovery of money. FIR is only for criminal liability. Need more details like what was the police action on the FIR. What steps have been taken
