There is no fixed timeline, but in the Allahabad High Court a regular bail application is usually heard within 1–4 weeks after filing, if pursued properly. What actually controls the timing • Filing defects & listing – if papers are complete, listing can come in a few days • Urgency/seriousness of offence – serious sections may take a bit longer • Bench roster & workload – Lucknow/Allahabad side varies week to week • Push for early hearing – mentioning/urgency can bring it forward Practical timeline • Filing to first listing: ~3–10 days • Hearing to order: same day or within a few days

I depends whether it is minor bail or major bail. Both have different courts according to sections. What are your offences in the section? Also, please note that some of the court takes only 2-3 days for listing, while some other takes a week. Also, sometimes due to pendency of the court it gets listed on high serials, which is impossible to reach at the same day. All depends upon the court to court.

As soon as you or your lawyer will file the bail after filing it will take around one week for the first hearing to be done and this cannot be suggested to you that bail will be granted or not without looking into the matter.
