Agar ladki apne parivar ke utpidan aur khatre ki vajah se apni marzi se ghar chhodti hai, toh Special Marriage Act ke tehat Lucknow se apply karne aur Police Protection Order milne mein kitna samay lagta hai? Ladki ke 164 statement ke baad kya parivar wale ya police koi jhoothi FIR ya pareshani khadi kar sakte hain?"

you can definitely solemnise your marriage under a special marriage act and obviously your parents will raise an objection but that can be nullified with the help of a legal consultant and if they harassed you then you can definitely file a petition for protection and if a girl does not change her statement then nobody can do anything, contact if you need legal help.

Q: To check weather a man can file for divorce first

I got married on 23 Nov 2025. And me and my wife are not getting along. And I believe in my mind that my wife is waiting for a year to complete to file for divorce so that she can put fake charges against me such as alimony, dowry and all. Can I as a man file for divorce before the year completes. What will be the repocursions if I file for divorce first. I want a mutual divorce. I don't want to pay any alimony as we haven't took anything from her and she mostly lives in her mom's home.

UP 498A Settlement Case: FIR (498A/323/504/506 IPC + 3/4 Dowry Act) registered - oct2024; investigation pending, no charge sheet yet. Settlement completed, MoU signed with clause for HC quashing cooperation, 125 & DV will be closed, and wife has supported settlement before IO(not sure if part of case diary). Need advice on safest sequence: 13B second motion first vs. HC 482 quashing, and whether any additional affidavit/NOC or precautions are required for successful quashing.

Q: Being a victim of domestic and mental abuse by husband and his family

I am asking this on behalf of my sister. She is a victim of domestic abuse. Recently her husband has beaten her in presence of my brother. While my brother went to mediate was beaten as well. There were verbal abuse of all kinds. He abused my sister, my family , telling my brother that of he went as a witness to court he will make him vanish.After this incident my sister’s in-laws came and now they have started abusing her.P.S-husband is non-working and has no earnings/property in his name

Application for Early Hearing and Expedited Disposal of Complaint as lying from 2020 for providing defective product as case is now under state consumer court lucknow
