You can lodge a police complaint against her husband under criminal intimidation. For her wife , you can file a suit for malicious prosecution and can claim compensation in that . For further information, feel free to reach me. Thanks

Dear sir Your case involves multiple serious concerns including: You are entitled to seek the following legal remedies under Indian law: 1. File a Police Complaint or NCR/FIR Immediately lodge a complaint at your nearest police station (or via online police complaint portal) under the following sections: Section 182 IPC – False information with intent to cause public servant to use his lawful power to the injury of another person. Section 211 IPC – False charge of offence made with intent to injure. Section 506 IPC – Criminal intimidation (verbal threats). Section 354D IPC – Stalking (if her husband is following or monitoring your wife). Section 509 IPC – Insulting the modesty of a woman (if applicable). You may also request the police to record the incidents in the daily diary and seek preventive action under Section 107/151 CrPC. 2. File a Complaint Under IT Act (if online defamation or stalking) If false complaints or harassment are being made digitally (e.g. WhatsApp, email), invoke: Section 66A, 67 IT Act – Sending offensive or false messages. Preserve evidence like screenshots, call records, or video footage. 3. Approach the Court for an Injunction or Protection If police action is not satisfactory, you can: File a private criminal complaint under Section 200 CrPC before the Magistrate. Seek a restraining order/injunction under civil law to stop harassment and stalking. File for injunctive relief protecting your wife’s privacy and liberty under Article 21 of the Constitution. 4. Legal Defamation Action (if reputational harm caused) You can initiate: Civil defamation suit for compensation under tort law. Criminal defamation complaint under Sections 499/500 IPC, if false complaints or rumors were made to third parties with intent to harm your reputation. Evidence Collection Tip: Maintain: Police closure reports, Video/audio proof of threats or stalking, Details of third-party communications, and Copies of any false complaints made.
