Is IPC s332 compoundable offence

Hello I friend have charged 2 year punishment and 1000 rs fine in ipc 332 in lower court abd appealed ib sesson ,after a faulse case by Police home guard My question is can I compound with police home guard

Its a non compoundable offence and non congnizable and also non bailable offence.
You should know under this offence you can get 3yr imprisonment or fine or can get both.

332 is voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty.

Yes at appeal stage the offences can be compound please see 320 5 crpc 1973 and if any application is rejected file a 482 crpc application under which the high court has inherent rights and power to correct anything

Yes you can compound the offence with police home guard but with the permission of the court under section 320 (5) of criminal procedure code which read as under:-

"(5) When the accused has been committed for trial or when he has been convicted and an appeal is pending, no composition for the offence shall be allowed without the leave of the Court to which he is committed or, as the case may be, before which the appeal is to be heard."

For that you will have to move an application under section 320 (5) of criminal procedure code before the appellate court for composition.
