Can IPC326 compromised in Lok adalat. If yes what is the procedure.

IPC 326 means Voluntarily causing grevious hurt by dangerous weapon ...compromised between plantiff and accused .totally depends on plantiff ....approach an advoccate and ask him to speak with plantiff and go for settlement...

Section 326 of IPC is non compoundable offence. Generally, Lok Adalats do not have the authority to compromise or adjudicate cases related to non-compoundable offenses, including those under Section 326 of the IPC. Serious criminal cases are usually tried in regular courts. However, in some cases, if both parties agree to settle a dispute related to a compoundable offense, they may approach the Lok Adalat for resolution, it depends nature of the court and process..you can discuss with me in person at my office.
