Ipc 354 Compoundable Or Not...

One of the lawyer told me that ipc 354 is compoundable.But I searched it in google.it is shown non compoundable..Also one of them told me police have right to grant bail in ipc 354.

As per the section 354 IPC, it is a non bailable offence. so police officials do not have the right to grant bail from Police station only. This offence is triable and only court has the authority to grant bail. It is a non compoundable offence.

354 IPC was compoundable earlier before 2009 but after 2009 it is not compoundable anymore it means the trial will continue as per the law and court will only decide weather the person aur Di accused will be acquitted or convicted

No you ll not get bail from police station although it will be compoundable with consent of victim and the court and you ll have to file quashing the HON’BlE High court and you ll get the order after that you need to show that order in district court and after that your matter will over
