02-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Sir, on 16 june me alongwith my friend returning from party at 12.50 night neqr my house. Some police official ask me where are you going show id etc. I showed them. Another police offixe says u have to come to plice station right now. I refused to go to police station they forcefully took me to police station and and beat me. And took my signature on many forms and blank papers. And took 20000 to release me. After reaching home i call 100 for emergency help. But same person reached my home and took me police station again. And force me to write letter for settlement otherwise we kill you, i do the same because i was in fear they all are drunk. From that day to till date i am in mental trauma. What legal action i can take against them.

You can always file a written complaint against them with the higher authorities. And if you wish to go legal then you can also file a application under section 156(3) for the registration of FIR against them. They have committed a criminal offence under section 166 IPC. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

You need to file a police complaint to the DCP concerned of the area through a lawyer and follow-up for registration of the FIR. This seems to be a very serious issue. You need to narrate the entire narrative of the incident.
