I made a contract with one person to build my house in Oct20. Initially he said that he will complete the task in 6 month which he didn't and after one year on 6 oct21 he send me a letter in WhatsApp later by speed post stating that he locked my property and keep charge of it because as per him I didn't pay to him which is false. I had bank statement supporting that incident that I had paid him. Also he stated that he kept his valuable instruments inside my property. Having no alternative I send a reply to him on the same day asking the bill. After 2days he send me a bill having several false claims. So I didn't reply to him. After 2month I conducted some of the works which he left undone. After that several times the person came to my place and threated me for paying his dues. I register police complaint. He didn't went to court against me for his claims but after almost one and half year of the incident he still contacting me and ask for his money and do a settlement.

dear client as per your query since the person is harrassing you again and again so take some steps send legal notice through advocate to that person you can consult me online by paying online consultancy fees...

dear client, you have both civil as well as criminal remedy against this person.. you may opt for filing case in consumer court as well as go for filing a criminal complaint against him...contact me for further clarification

register a FIR against him. please let me know the current state of your litigation at court... get an order against him ...if he doesn't appear he stands the risk of being summoned and arrested for not appearing
