Question: I caught by police in drink and drive case. Police filed complaint in court. please advise what should I do ?

You can attend the court and pay the fine or You can also hire a lawyer to contest the case.

Ans: it is very simple procedure in the court, you have to either contest or plead guilty and in such an event court will impose fine. you may have to engage an advocate for that purpose to attend in the court.

See the receipt given by the police to you and go to the concerned police station's jurisdictional Court your case number will be called in open court plead guilty and fine will be imposed and pay the fine in pending branch of the concerned court hall and get the acknowledgement for paying fine and show it to the concerned police station and get release your vehicle.

Dear sir /Madam, as per your query you are caught for drink and drive and police have registered a criminal case against you and filed charge sheet before MMTC court, then you have only option is that you have to appear before court with your original Idemtenty card like Voter I D, D L or Adhaar card, and if you plead guilty you have to pay fine as court imposed or you can contest the matter.
