Huge Robbery at residential home and police haven’t recovered anything

There was a gold robbery at our home of huge amount for which we filed FIR. It’s been seven months now, but the police is not able to recover any of the items that we have lost. They say they have caught thieves but to our agony they have filed papers in court saying they haven’t recovered anything from them. Apart from this they are asking us to come to the court but why we have to go to the court inspite of we being the complainant? This we aren’t able to understand. What steps do we have to take kindly guide. If appropriate suggestions we would like to hire a lawyer so that at-least some amount we can recover.

Well, in order to recover your gold items, you have to hire a Private Spy to keep a tab on Police, who can do Sting Operation and reveal nexus of certain Police Officials with thieves. These Days, one can find lot of loopholes in the Investigation. Why there are loopholes in Investigation?

Hello, if the right thief is caught by the police then only they can recover money or if the thieves have sold it any gold that can be recovered from jewellery shop where it is sold. Your concern for investigation and filing of charge sheet is correct because it is their duty to recover articles and seize it. If the investigation is not done properly move an application before magistrate court to ask them to produce status report of investigation and filing of charge sheet or you can file criminal writ petition in respective high court for shoddy investigation
