How to travel abroad if a case is pending in the court

got anticipatory bail on 27/12/2014.after the bail police release me in personal bond i want to surrender my passport but police refuse they said we dont need it.i ask them in court order i have to surrender my passport even then they refuse now the FIR is cancel by police no charge sheet no trail can i travel abroad or i have to take the permission from court

It depends on the type of case and type of visa , type of country. And the type of offence.
It does not happen every time that court refuses someone to travel abroad.
It is at the discretion of the court.

Once FIR is lodged by the police, they can't cancel it on their own. For this one has to file an application for quashing of FIR at honble high court. Once It is done then u r free to go abroad and no permission of the court is required.

If the FIR is cancelled then there is no case against you and you can travel abroad but if FIR is pending then you have to sought permission from court as it is a condition of bail order to surrender the passport even if police haven’t taken ur passport
