How to stop a person from harassing for physical relationship

My friend stays in Chennai and she is harassed by a guy.That guy is unemployed and demands my friend to be physical with him.It seems then only he is able to focus.My friend denied multiple times but this guy used to text her or mail ,even threat her.She is scared and doesn't what has to be done?She doesn't want her family to get involved?Please help.

Go and give a police complaint against that culprit and also send a copy to the Commissioner of police by registered Post .if possible you can also give a private complaint before the magistrate court.
