How to get my chargesheet as police denied giving me chargesheet

Hello sir I am the accused and police has submitted the chargesheet in court. I asked IO to provide me chargesheet but he denied and said he doesn't have with him. How will I get my chargesheet? Can I simply go to court and get my chargesheet

Legally you were entitled to get the chargesheet from the court free of cost when the IO of your case submitted the same. Nevertheless you can always apply for the certified copy of the same by counter signing the certified copy form from the magistrate and submitting the same to the copying agency of the concerned district.

Yes you are entitled to get the copy of chargesheet. Do appear alongwith your advocate and file an appropriate application under 207 CrPC and the Court will direct the State to provide a copy of chargesheet to you.
