How do I get rid of my ex girlfriend who is threatening me?

I was in a relationship with a girl everything was good for some months after that she became cranky and started fighting on everything one day she was at my home, we fought on something and she started abusing me and hitting me in front of everyone. My family told me stay away from her and not invite her home. Ever since I am trying to breakup with her since a year now but she isn't letting me, last month I blocked her from everywhere the same night she came up to my home with a guy and police
you have to take some steps prior to her to defend yourself for further proceedings
don't make any contact with her and collect the relevant evidence against her which will be useful for you if she does anything against you in future
