Harrasment and defmation by members of RWA

RWA member/s has intentionally named my Father & house no. in society's residents Whatsapp Group chat. He didn't communicate it us directly or sent letter/notice for due payment of NOT Regular Maintenance but payment of Rs. 20k per quarter for lift replacement in all buildings of our CGHS.nWhat case can be made here & how to file defamation case against that individual in court. I want written apology on society office's letter head. Also seek damages for mental &/or financial harrasment.
If you are being defamed before the society members then you can always file a defamation suit against the culprits who are responsible for the same. But first of all it's advisable to serve them a legal notice and in that notice you can write that either stop all these harassments or apologize or face legal action which will be at your own risk.
