08-Jun-2023 (In Criminal Law)
For the last 6 years or so I have been facing harassment and indirect threats from a group of persons who have an all India wide network and continues it on a 24/7 basis. This all were noticeable only after I left an institution in which I was working 6 years ago. Some of the co- workers had a grudge against me then. They started following me without my knowledge but things started noticeable when these people started making sarcastic comments as well as harassment by employing many people including general public too wherever i am.What can I do legally to stop this.

You should make police complaint against the persons doing all this. Besides naming possible mastermind of the same, do include the names of persons who actually do this.

You may mention the reason behind harassment is grudges that some persons of your previous employer organisation had.

You can file a police complaint about these facts. If the police isn't performing it's functions or not registering your complaint you can then approach the court under section 156(3) criminal procedure code.

Sir,
Lodge an FIR / complaint stating all these facts and complete background. Further, ask for some protection by filing a writ in the Court, if the circumstances are so dangerous.
The rest can be discussed when we meet/

Whenever they repeat the same act, you can take help from the local people available at that time and also make a police complaint against those persons with their complete name and address. This will help you a lot in solving your problem. You have not clarified about your gender in your enquiry. The contents of the complaint would differ in both the cases.
