I would need to have a look at the 156(3) application and the RTO order to get some clarity. Even if the ATR filed by the police states that no offence has been made out, that does not prevent the judge from directing the police to take appropriate action as long as you are able to convince that an investigation is required because an offence has been maid out. Kindly reach out and share the documents for more appropriate and specific legal advice.

In which Court you have filed 156(3) ? And when you filed the same? You can lodge an FIR against your mother in law if she has done wrong with you. Share some more details if you want to get best advice or solution. Thanks

1. If the investigation officer is not investigating the case as per law and in a fair manner you can file an application u/s 156(3) for monitoring of the investigation by the court concerned. 2. let's assume that the politician is in nexus with the other side, even in that case all he can do is to influence the outcome of the investigation. However if you take appropriate action as suggested in Pt 1, the illegal influence exerted by the politician can be negated and moreover there are multiple legal recourse that can be taken against such illegal acts. 3. You can appeal against the said order or file a writ against it as a result of which the impugned order would be set aside if the same is based on false facts. Furthermore you can file a case of perjury against such a person who has intentionally concealed material facts or put forth false facts knowingly.

You can file a protest petition for challenging the erroneous investigation by police and request for fresh investigation. Need to know more facts to help you well. Who has the possession of the Car as of now? Thank you
