get in touch with a high court lawyer who shall help you in drafting a joint compromise petition and get the proceeding quashed on that ground under the 482 revisional jurisdiction of the high court. Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Net), LL.B (Delhi), Advocate, High Court Calcutta.

you have to go for quasshing of FIR because the sections will not allow you to withdraw just like that. it might take a few more dates to withdraw but since you have waited this long wait a bit longer

There are two types of offences, compoundable and non compoundable in the India Legal System. Compoundable offences are those that can be compromised, i.e. the complainant can agree to take back the charges levied against the accused, whereas, non - compoundable offences are the more serious offences in which the parties cannot compromise. If offences you are charged with are compoundable in nature then Yes cases against you can be withdrawan by filing compromise petition & you can get relief from lower court.
