FIR lodged for different sections for providing job in PSU.

One of my brother's friend lodged a FIR for taking money in his account to provide job in PSU (IOCL). As his friend sends money in his account saying that to encash the amount (around 4 lacs) and pay to the unknown person in year 2014. Now something happened between their friendship and now his friend falsely claiming and lodged FIR in 2021 for taking money for the work. And the police is also taking their interest in this matter I don't know why and didn't listen to us and intimidating for "kurki" of the property.

Has the FIR been filed yet? Or the Police is harassing without any FIR? If filed, under what sections? You must immediately apply for arresting stay/bail as a preventive measure in case FIR has been filed. The police maybe seeking illicit monetary benefit, it can only be tackled via court order otherwise it just gets vicious. You may contact me for further consultation. Thanks.
