fir against tractor crushing the leg of a lady in a dispute

a tractor crushed leg of my mother fir registered against the driver but not against the tractor.

its a major fault if you not mention the vehicle or vehicle number in the FIR. but now you can go to the police station and in front of investigation officer you can make a statement under section 161crpc and you can told him vehicle and vehicle number who drived by that driver. surely after that your problem will solved.
