Final Report filed but no case number after compromise

Police filed Final Report in my FIR after both parties reached a compromise outside court.in 2022 No trial case number was registered in the court. I need a certified copy of the Final Report for my records for passport verification. Should I mention only the FIR number on the certified copy application form, or do I need to find a case number first? How can I trace it if no case number exists?

You need to apply through counsel a certified copy of your FIR. Visit concerned FIR’s jurisdictional sessions court and apply for it. However you need to apply quashing of chargesheet cum FIR through compromise deed if there is amicable compromise reached between you and opposite party.

For obtaining a certified copy of the Final Report in your FIR where both parties reached a compromise outside court in 2022 and no case number was registered, you can mention the FIR number on the certified copy application form. You don't necessarily need a case number since no case was registered in court.

only FIR number is enough for the copy extraction additionally if in case you need more details of the FR you can contact the court bench secretary (peshkar) to provide the date of Submission of FR in your FIR from the crime number & POlice station details and you'll precisely know the date of Submission of FR and the serial number on register entry of that date and further you'll find the precise details of the FR
