False indecent assault police complaint

A false indecent assault report has been filed against me. I was not even at the site at the time the alegation has been made against me. What are my options?

if FIR registered against you first check whether it's is registered under bailable section or not... than just move Anticipatry bail application..if your case is from delhi than contact us for more free legal advice.

Is there any FIR registered in which your name has been put in ? If yes then you can either make an effort for obtaining a discharge by showing the evidence, if any, at the time when arguments on the point of charge is being heard. Alternatively, you can move to high court for quashing of FIR qua you.

Dear client In case an FIR has been lodged and if you have been named in the same. You will need to approach the High court to get it quashed. Depending on the stage of investigation. it depends at what stage the police complaint is at. If FIR is lodged then in the investigation itself rule of alibi can be proved and the police can file closure report and If the proceedings are under investigation, quashing petition can be filed for quashing the FIR.
