Hello Sir, You need not to worry. The witness statement recorded by police during investigation cannot be used as a substantive piece of evidence. And you can also approach High Court to quash the FIR registered against you. For further details please feel free to contact me at any time.

A copy of FIR should be sought along with an application to the court to direct police to communicate you the status of the case. After scrutiny of the allegations, if it appears that the case against you is clearly false and malafide, we can move an application before the high court to quash the FIR. Further, counter-case can also be filed if by what you say is true.

You need to seek a detailed legal consultation from a lawyer at the earliest possible. Engage a lawyer and brief him about your case alongwith the details of the FIR. The lawyer will advise you and will help you legally by representing you in your matter.
