False FIR causing serious issues in my life immensely

14-Aug-2023 (In Criminal Law)
My sister in law filed a false dowry case against my family last year, the fir included IPC 354 for me, mediation happened in the mediation court after approx 2 months and after that police filed a final report mentioned that no arrest happened no charges filed nothing and send it to the court but the file is missing because of which case is not disposed yet. My police verification is expected in oct or nov for my government job and I have to fill attestation form next month. What should I do?

As you alleged a concocted fabricated opprobrium of dowry was booked against u, of which a final report under section 173 of crpc too has come & it is costing you a brunt as u have lost the file & it might cost u a government job . So the best course or remedy on your end of spectrum, would be to challenge the fabricated or falsehood case of dowry booked against u to establish your innocence & vindication to your inalienable right of government job .

As per your version your sister in law had FIR lodged against you and your family members. whether she had named her husband or not? the police has filed final report in this case, and given clean chit to all of you. in India such type of FIR are normal and in many of the cases police files FIR final report in favour of the accused.
